FORGEWORLD : ORK KOMMANDOS CONVERSION SET!

Holy crap, seems like ForgeWorld likes Orks! They never release enough of 'em, which is good fer us!

Grot Tanks are 'ere!

Forge World just updated their website available to pre-order your Grot Tanks, which will be released on the end of June. The Grot Tanks was first spotted in Forge World Open Day earlier this year, and it has finally been put up on the website recently.

To play the Grot Tank, you need to get the Imperial Armour 8 : Raid on Kastorel-Novem  book from Forge World, in which it will be described under the Dread Mob section. But the designer was good enough to give a free Apocalypse Grot Tank formation sheet here.

The description from the Forge World website :

"The lunatic product of the deranged imaginations of grot riggers and scavs that have spent far too long basking in the insane genius of the Big Meks, Grots Tanks are diminutive armoured vehicles made to imitate the far larger Ork Wagons and Tanks. The set contains four different variant chassis, tracks, exhausts and turrets as well as four fantastic Grot Tank Kommandaz and 5 different, incredibly shooty, weapon options. Models designed by Daren Parrwood, Crew models designed by Mark Bedford."

So Forge World retails the price of this set at £58.00 (~USD 83.80). So a Grot tank will cost about £14.50 (~USD 20.90).

Taken from Forge World open day - All Grot Tank parts are interchangable!

According to designer Daren Parrwood on the Games Workshop blog, he has taken care to ensure the kit is fully modular – all of the chassis, turret, exhaust, track and weapon options are completely interchangeable. This allows more than a thousand individual tanks to be built from the kits, that means you can attach regular ork weapons from your bit box, and other items in the Forge World range, such as Gretchin Crews and the recently-released Weapons Set.

Speak of the Forge World Gretchin crew, it consists of 11 different resin models for £22.00 (~USD 31.79), which means £2 (~USD2.89) for each grot model. There goes our wallet again...:P

Unfortunately Grot Tanks is an Imperial Armour unit, so it can't be played on normal games...I hope the next codex, they will include Grot Tanks as heavy support units! We can't let these grotz be mucking about!

DO YOU KNOW THAT CHRISTIANITY IS CORRECT? THE WORLD AROUND US REVEALS THAT GOD DOES EXIST, AND THE HISTORICAL EVIDENCE REVEALS THAT JESUS CHRIST REALLY DID COME TO THIS EARTH AND THERE IS OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE THAT HE PHYSCALLY ROSE FROM THE DEAD.
JESUS IS COMING AGAIN AND THE SIGNS OF THE END TIMES THAT WERE FORETOLD IN THE BIBLE ARE COMMING TO PASS, AND THAT ISLAM IS THE ANTICHRIST SYSTEM!
